The University of Alabama provides thirteen residential hall options for Full-time UA students for the nine month academic year including Burke Hall, Byrd Hall, Friedman Hall, Palmer Hall, New Hall, Harris Hall, Parham Hall, Paty Hall, Somerville Hall, Tutwiler Hall, Rose Towers, Parker-Adams Hall, and Fitts Hall. Returning students are assigned first then new students who apply before the March 1 deadline are assigned based on academic achievement or potential class standing and date of application to housing. After the deadline, housing is made on a first-come first-serve basis.
There is an \$100 deposit which serves as a security deosit and $25 nonrefundable application fee. Each hall is available for viewing during summer orientation or by appointment through Housing Office at (205) 348-6676.

H.A. Edwards, Inc. also provides apartments close to campus including Hunt House, Bryant Drive Apartments, Churchill Downs, Chateau Twelve, Churchill II, Merry Oaks, Heathrow, and Grenadier.
