TUSCALOOSA'S CAR CARE CENTERS By Megan E. Lovelace Over the past four years as a student at the University of Alabama, I have had some minor car trouble. Like most college students I was clueless as to where to go to fix the problems. A friend told me about Warren's Tire Center, which has been the answer to all of Lucy's (my car) problems. The friendly people at Warren's Tire Center has changed a flat tire, put on all four new tires, changed spark plugs, and rotated my tires. Mr. Warren and his team do not try to take advantage of college students and always offer the best and most cost effective solution for the car's problems. A friend told me about Warren's Tire Center my Freshman year, and I have taken Lucy there ever since. If you need a ride to work, home, or back to campus, the people at Warren's will gladly give you a lift without charging you a dime. One time I took Lucy in for a checkup before I left for a long trip. Mr. Warren called me at work to inform me that my tires were so thread-bare that they might blow at any time. All four tires truly needed replacing. Unlike most salesmen, Mr. Warren gave me a price list of tires. Much to my surprise he did not recommend the most expensive brand. I admire and appreciate Mr. Warren's and his team's honesty. I highly recommend Warren's Tire Center for any car trouble you may experience during your time as a University of Alabama student.
